The following happened to me in the last week and a half. Stomach flu. Fired from seasonal job. Complete lack of money.
Admittedly all those items are directly related. Stomach flu on first day of job lead to me getting let go. And being let go is the reason for the lack of money.
Sorry this is short, but as you can see I have problems.

Cleaning the House.
Cleaning is something that you need to do from time to time. It feels good when it is over, and hurts while you are doing it. I do a round of cleaning every 3 to 4 months, always having the same things happen.
Finding movies/game that you bought but never watched/played. It seems I own a copy of "Force Unleashed 2" for Wii, no memory of buying it. Assuming I got it the same time I bought "Paranorman", which I saw in theaters, it was good, not sure when or why I got the DVD. Ever time I clean I find something and go "When the hell did I buy this?".
Reorganizing shelves that I haven't touched since last time I cleaned. There is a thick layer of dust on everything on this shelf, clearly it has not been touched for months. but someone if I move things into just the right place it will prevent dust from accumulating in the next few months.
Find small sums of money. Change under things, a dollar here, a five there. Never very much, but usually enough to treat myself to a fast-food meal. Kind of a built in reward for cleaning I guess. Here again, I am not sure how this happens, I am a stickler about emptying my pockets in the same location when I get home, so where does this other money come from? I don't have many visitors, so this is a mystery.
See many items I have no practical use for, but won't throw away. I need the Beer-Buddha for some reason. And that those VHS tapes that I no longer have a way to play. YES I NEED THE ATARI 2600 CONTROLLERS, AND I DON'T OWN A 2600 OR ANY GAMES FOR ONE!

Answering a few questions.
Every so often I get question from people about myself and this blog. So rather than answering them on a repeated basis, we are going to answer the more common of them right here for all to see. These are questions about myself, about this blog, about my youtube videos. This seemed like the best place to answer them.
Q: Why do you do this?
A: I am unemployed and hoping to get some money out of it.
Q: Have you gotten any money out of this?
A: No. Not yet. Guess I need more readers/viewers/fans.
Q: Why are your videos always photo-montages?
A: Because I don't have a camera that does good video. Also youtube won't let you monetize videos with footage from video games or television or movies. So I am stuck with photo-montages for the time being. Honestly I would like to move on to something a bit more complex.
Q: Where are you from?
A: Southern California. Its too damn hot.
Q: You seem angry in your posts/videos, are you really that upset?
A: Sometimes, but usually it is just for comedic effect. Exaggeration is a useful tool in comedy.
Q: I found something you said/wrote offensive, what do you plan to do about it?
A: Not a damn thing.
Q: Why do you have so much negativity toward ___________?
A: Well one of two options. Either I have major psychotic hatred for that subject, or I am frequently inspired form over exposure to it. Not sure if there is really a difference between the two options.
Q: Where do you get your ideas from?
A: From the voices in my head. I wish they would quiet down sometimes.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: Sometimes, if they strike my fancy.
If you have a question, please ask, maybe we could do this again. I read every comment I get, and I love any feedback. Good, or bad, I want to hear what you have to say.

Losers.
Some people just aren't going to reach sweet success. It could be a lack of drive, or a lack of intelligence, an unfortunate genetic combination, or maybe just bad luck along the way, whatever the case may be some people are just losers. Its alright, there is no shame in it, not everyone can get the best out of life. Of course there are levels of loser. So if you are a loser make the best of it.
Are you an attractive woman with no real skills? Don't have the patience or grace to be a waitress? Why not take up stripping? All you have to do is shake your ass and let strange, lonely, men touch you. You might say it is degrading, but I say it is better than living on the street. You get tips, and with a little luck you can marry an old man and take him for everything he is worth. Keep in mind there is a time limit on how long you can do this ladies.
Now maybe you are a woman not quite attractive enough to take your cloths off for money. That is still no problem. Start a youtube channel where you talk about video games. As long as you are a woman, you will get tons of fanboys watching your videos and clicking your adds. It is a great place for an average looking woman to be treated as queen, despite not having an original thought in her head. You might not be the best looking woman in the world, but you are likely the best looking one that gives a damn about video games.
That is enough about women, lets talk about males losers. Bartender is basically the male version of stripper, as you need not have any real skills to do it, but can make decent cash anyway. You will never need to be awake before 10 am, and you have your choice of women drinking after a breakup to enjoy. Best part is unlike stripping there is no time limit.
Of course all of these still require a minimal level of motivation. If you really have no drive, you can take up blogging. All you need is an internet connection. Just start one and watch the cash trickle in. You can make up to 20$ a year doing it.
So remember, just because you are a loser doesn't mean there aren't options.

The Good Part Of Any Holiday.
Valentine's Day has come and gone. It is a a holiday that is a bit of chore if you are man, and free gifts if you are a woman. Putting that aside, it is another holiday where hoards of overpriced novelties are made available before hand and sold incredibly cheaply afterward. That is the great part of most of the worst holidays, the very cheap candy one can find the day after. Christmas, Valentine's, Easter, all horrid waste of time, but the day after each of them one can find high quality candies and chocolate at rock bottom prices.
Now to get the best stuff you will need to get to the store early, when they open if possible. You then need to sprint to holiday section, and be ready to push old women out of the way. You aren't the only person here with a plan to get cheap chocolate, you may need to be ready to knock some people out. The best stuff will go quickly, and if you get there too late all you will fine are off brands, and the stuff no one wants in the first place. After you have found your prize, take it to the register and get ready to be shocked at how cheap everything has become after only one day.
A good haul will set you up for your candy need till at least the next holiday. Yes the candy will be themed to whatever holiday you got it after, but that is alright, after all Reese's peanut butter heart or egg tastes just as good as a peanut butter cup. You can use your hoard of holiday candy to confuse people, as no one expects a Milky Way Santa in June. If you have any small children you see regularly they will be very happy to get conversation hearts or marshmallow chicks weeks and months after the holidays they are made for.
Remember just because a holiday is a pain in the ass waste of time, it doesn't mean it is completely without charm. So after every holiday be ready to get needlessly violent in the name of saving a few dollars. It is fun, and profitable.

Counterfeit Money.
Every so often you find yourself in possession of fake money. Counterfeit bills that have no real value, but you got them as change, or found them on the ground, doesn't really matter how you got them as now you need to get rid of them. Now even if your money is fake, you should still get something for it.
One good place to take your bad money is charity. Teach a lesson to the man asking for donations outside of the store, just imagine him explaining this to his boss. Church collection plates are another fine opinion, and give you the opportunity to exchange your problem for actual money. Put that fake ten in the plate, and reach in and grab a two fives as "change". The church isn't selling a real product, why should they get real money? The best part of the charity option is you can write it off on your taxes.
Another good option is to spend it. Now you can't do this at any retailer, you need to find a small street vender, or any place with bad lighting. The man selling hot dogs on the street isn't going to check. A stripper doesn't have time to check every bill that is placed in her thong. Kids with a lemonade stand have never even heard of counterfeit money. Have a bad waiter? I got a great way to leave them a tip.
It might be fake, but it is your money. You didn't create it, you just stumbled across it. You could do the right thing and destroy it, or you could have a little fun.
