TGI Fridays

I enjoy eating at TGI Fridays. Decent food, fair price, all that jazz. However, today was not a good time.

Monday through Saturday happy hour is between 3pm and 7pm. Many items are cheaper. The reason I go during this time is for the half priced appetizers. Did that very thing today with friends. Was a good time, at least for a while.

Then the bill came. The appetizers we had ordered were full price. We had said at the time of ordering we were doing the half priced appetizers, yet on the bill they were full priced. The waitress played innocent, "they are whatever the computer says they are". Looking at he bill, I see it was rung up at 2:59. This seems intentional on her part.

We ask to speak to the manager. After 20 minutes of bullshit, he gives us the price we should of had in the first damn place. I will still eat at Fridays, but not that location ever again. For people that care, it was the one in Savi Ranch.

Eating at Chili's.

 Chili's a place you go to get just passable ribs. It is never great, but it is inexpensive. However, I recently found out they consider it a burden to take payment in cash.

The other day I went to Chili's. Had a average meal. Then wanted to get the check. The waitress informed me that "you pay using the machine at the edge of the table". She walks away and I look at it.

After a minute or two it becomes clear this is a credit or debit only.

So I signal the waitress over, and explain that I intended to pay in cash. She was clearly pissed and said "Well, I guess we can take cash, if you can't like use a card for some reason". When did taking cash as payment become a burden?

It is likely that I will never return to Chili's. The food is just not worth the attitude.

Eating at Islands.

I love eating at Islands. They have good burgers, and some of the best french fries around these parts. I go with friends often to enjoy a meal. In short, I am a fan of this chain.

I ate there today. Drank about 12 diet cokes, ate my fill of bottomless fries. Had a good burger, looked something like this.

However, while the food was great (as always), there was one thing that seemed a bit off. While eating I noticed a waitress. She looked a bit overdone, with her large fake tits and overly tight clothing. She was not serving my section, but was in the section just one over. What bothered me about her, was that in her very tight pants, there seemed to be a huge cock. So she was a transvestite.

Now that is there life choice, and I take no issue with that. People should do what they want. However, it seems like some slightly less tight pants might be in order. Might be wrong, but I don't think anyone wants a huge cock in there face while eating. Just a thought.

Then again, it could of been a woman play a joke on the costumers. I don't know, I didn't ask.
