This is just a series of fact about myself. They are not meant for any particular reason. They are just information, put whatever spin on it you like.
I sell my sperm.
I read to the blind.
I don't consider your being offended to be my problem, or something that needs to be treated as important by anyone.
I volunteer at a soup kitchen.
On more than one occasion I have stopped a husband/father being abusive to his wife/family in public. Both with legal mean, and somewhat less that legal means. Situation is very important here.
I am an atheist.
I one tried to pay lip service to a church for a woman I was with.
I am completely estranged from both of my brothers. Wouldn't know them if I passed them on the street.
I was a boxer.
Not a dog person. I distrust how existed they are to see you. Some dogs are alright, the calm ones.
I didn't attend my high-school or either of my college graduations. I saw no point.
I honestly value every reader I have, and ever comment that is posted.
Wonder how many of those people could of guess. Doesn't matter, but I wanted to let you know me just a little better. If you have a question, people ask. I will answer you completely honestly and sincerely. One condition however, don't ask a question you don't really want an answer to.

So I made a video.
Nothing funny here today. There is a lot of personal stuff getting in my way this week, so I don't have time to do my usual semi-funny ranting. I prefer not to go into complete detail, but it involves family, surgery, and other personal matters. Right before all of this landed on me I was attempting to make an internet video.
Here is that attempt. I know it is not a masterpiece.
I am hoping to get better at them.

Song Covers.
Sometimes the same song is done by more than one artist. Often time the original performer a song will have influenced or inspired another performer. This can lead to this other artist then doing their own version of that song. This can be done several ways, but the best covers show the style and substance of both the original artist and the person or group making the cover. It can also go completely wrong, and have the two version of the song sound almost identical.
Here is an example of good cover work.
Original:
Cover:
Above are the original Queen version of "Radio Gaga" and the Electric 6 cover. While they are the same song, there is a huge difference in how they are performed. This shows how much a song can change with artists, as they aren't even the same genre of music.
On the other hand, here is a poorly done cover:
Original:
Cover:
Here we see a cover that is nearly identical to the original. The singer on the cover is even going so far as to make is voice sound like the original artist. When doing a cover, an artist should try to make the song their own. What is the point of covering a song just to have be so close to the original. This only a critique of the cover, not of the song itself.

No Hate This Week.
Many people say all that is posted here is a bunch of negativity. They might be right, it is meant with some amount of humor, but still there is a negative tone to most of what is posted here. So this week we are going to be positive and talk about some things which inspire, enlighten, or are simply enjoyed by me. This will be a different, and a much more personal kind of thing than you usually see here. I honestly hope you enjoy it.
George Carlin, easily the greatest comedian of the second half of the 20th century. This man inspired me to get into comedy. He never let taboos or other peoples discomforts get in his way. While he knew where the line might be drawn, he knew how to take people to the line and then take them past it.
Seeing this masterpiece was an epiphany moment for me. While the version I first saw was a much abridged, it still had a profound effect altering the way perceived and thought about everything. Now you can see a nearly complete version, which is mind blowing. If you feel like looking this one up, it is black and white, and a silent film.
Sorry for this not being longer. It was very difficult to write this, not so much from a content standpoint, but from things it was bringing to the surface of my mind. I hope you enjoyed it.
