I didn't expect to have more to say about RDR2. However, having now finished it, I have a few more thoughts. Not so much on the main campaign, it resolves about as a fan of Rockstar games would expect. Rather, there is a very long "Epilogue".
The epilogue follows John Marston, the protagonist of the first game, and serves to show directly what led up to his situation at the start of the first game. It last 6 to 8 hours, and is the kind of thing most companies release as DLC. It shares the map of the main game, but has its own random encounters, and a few new characters.
It takes place in two parts. One dealing with John Marston and his family adjusting to an honest life, and one with John buying and setting up his farm. It also settles a few loose ends left over from the main story.
Overall, I enjoyed more than the main story. While i felt it was a bit long to be called an "epilogue", it was well worth playing.
